This is a guide to making plasticine dinosaur models for animation without investing in expensive armatures.
You will need small and medium sized polystyrene eggs (available from craft shops), 'bendy' hair rollers (chemists, supermarkets, general stores) and wire. If you want a good quality model some features can be made out of oven baked polymer clay (Fimo, sculpey etc.) but these can be made from plasticine or other readily available sources as described. Click on the model you want to make for more information. Have fun!
